The (possible) predecessor to He-man, this other 'barbarian' with a magical sword starred in this Filmation cartoon before anyone had heard of He-man.
Like He-man, Blackstar was a muscle bound sword wielding hero on the planet Sagar and defended it against the evil Overlord. Though I remember the show to be very entertaining, little remains of this great cartoon nowadays, nor does anyone seem to remember it.

DVD Information
